Western Union Helps rehabilitate survivors of Nepal’s deadly earthquake

The Western Union Company along with the Western Union Foundation is providing support to those who have been most affected by the earthquake in Nepal.

The Western Union Foundation has also decided to chip in $200,000 so as to support rehabilitation efforts in the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. It will match the contributions from business customers, partners and agents. Additionally it will also provide a 2:1 donations from its employees for this very purpose.
 
A portion of this relief fund will be routed through Mercy Corps, a response team that is providing food, water and shelter on a war footing.
