'We're At War With China', Says Former Trump Advisor Steve Bannon

07/19/2018

It has bene decades that U.S. has been entangled in a trade spat with China, said Steve Bannon, former top advisor to US President Donald Trump, to the media.

"We're at war with China," Bannon said, while applauding Trump for taking the Chinese head on. "We're winning."

It has been just a few days that he had said that Trump knows he needs to "unite the West against the rise of a totalitarian China" which had created a controversy.

And there is only one way the US China war can end as far as Bannon is concerned and that end would come with a U.S. being victorious.
.
"How it ends is in victory. Victory is when they give all full access to their markets," he said.

He claimed that his words are still heard inside the White House. He said during the televised interview that that he remains in touch with the administration officials and attempted to impress he converses with the president through lawyers.

The former senior advisor of Trump confirmed that he would never get back to the White House. it has been about a year that he was removed out of the White House.

"I hated every second of it," Bannon said.

While he was advising the president, his main task was to ensure and advice Trump on the best possible way for the implementation of the nationalist agenda of Trump so that both the policies and the president remained appealing to the base of the Republican Party during the 2016 presidential election.

A number of the policies proposed by Bannon have been subsequently made into the government’s policies and include ones such as clamping down on illegal immigration, imposing import tariffs on Chinese products as well as those of the allies of the US and enhancement of US relationships with foes such as Russia.

However, Bannon and his bombastic methods of hurting his enemies through leaking stories to the press was severely criticized in private by a number of people within the Trump administration which included Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner and National Economic Council director Gary Cohn.

He was relinquished from his position at the White House soon enough as he had potentially made more enemies than friends there. He rejoined as executive chairman in August with the conservative news outlet of Breitbart.

However, Bannon’s confrontation with President Trump worsened in January after the publication of the book "Fire and Fury" – a tell-a-tale on the White House by journalist Michael Wolff. The contained a portion about Bannon calling a meeting between Donald Trump Jr and Russians as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”. He also claimed that investigators were "going to crack Don Jr. like an egg on national TV."

That re4sulted in him being pushed out of at Breitbart.
According to media reports in the US, Bannon has been paying his surrogates to produce political ads in cities across the United States.
