According to the agency, which cited regulatory papers, "job cuts at five Walmart Inc. e-commerce centers in the U.S. will impact more than 2,000 positions."
More than 1,000 employees at a warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas, more than 600 at a fulfillment center in Pennsylvania, 400 in Florida, and roughly 200 in New Jersey are among those to be fired. The organization also claims that another closure is scheduled for California.
The newspaper added that affected employees will be able to receive another position in the company.
