The US aims for global data centers to operate solely on American technology, stated Jake Sullivan, the country's National Security Adviser to President, on Monday.
“We want for the globe to operate on American technological infrastructure," he stated to Bloomberg adding that global data centers could utilize American technology instead of Chinese technology or any other options.
Sullivan mentioned that Washington aims to reach that objective by “safeguarding” high-performance computing abilities and implementing export regulations “to prevent other nations from leveraging U.S. technology through rivals and adversaries.”
