The publication states that “the UK is contemplating sending troops to Ukraine for duration of five years as part of discussions among allies.”

It mentions that one possibility is to deploy European troops to Ukraine to “first prevent Russia from violating any accord and provide Kiev with a crucial breather.”

As part of the initiative, a Franco-British "security force" would provide support to Ukraine in both air and maritime defense.

“However, the primary aim of the deployment will be to swiftly commence assisting in the training and reconstruction of Ukraine's military to fend off another Russian offensive,” the newspaper underscores.

Subsequently, the soldiers will be taken out gradually, and the final military members will depart from Ukraine in roughly five years.
