Some Chinese businesses will be removed by the White House from its list of organizations that are "untrustworthy in terms of the supply of technology items," reports Reuters citing sources.

Names of the businesses that will have their restrictions lifted are still unknown.

After China authorized the U.S. to inspect the companies' production facilities, the companies will be taken off the list, according to Reuters. It is anticipated that the decision will be officially revealed soon.

31 Chinese enterprises were listed by the United States in October as being "not reputable in terms of the delivery of technology products." SMIC, the biggest chip producer in China, was also subject to the limitations. China believed that the limitations were against the rules of the market. China announced on December 13 that it had filed a WTO complaint against the United States due to the restrictions.
