Harris stated that it was crucial to "get Donald Trump's affairs in order" following his four years in office with the current administration.

Harris claimed that prominent economists believe her economic strategy would expand the economy, whereas Donald Trump's plan would cause it to contract.

She stressed that she has a strategy to assist American families, advocating for her ideas to enhance housing affordability and broaden tax credits for children.

Simultaneously, she condemned Trump's suggestions like tax reductions for companies, stating that they would negatively impact middle-class American households.

Trump reaffirmed his stance by stating he would levy tariffs on nations like China. He suggested imposing tariffs ranging from 10% to 20% on the majority of imported goods in the United States, except for Chinese products which would face a 60% tariff.

He mentioned that while he was in office, the United States collected billions of dollars in tariffs from Chinese products.
