TruStar Energy Builds The Largest CNG ‘Feuling Station’ In Less Than Six Months

Within a period of less than six months, TruStar Energy delivers the largest and “private” CNG feuling station for FCA fleet.



Auburn Hills – 08 December 2015 – The Company of TruStar Energy is one of the leading “Compressed Natural Gas” developers for “fueling stations” all over the country. On the 5th of December, the company made an announcement, whereby revealing the news that a “CNG fueling station” has been constructed for “FCA US LLC”.
 
The newly built station is located at the “North American Detroit Terminal” of the company which is set to provide “domestically produced natural” fuel to hundred and seventy nine “tractor trucks” that run under “FCA Transport’s fleet”. In fact, has proven to be the “largest private fast-fill station” in the North America as it possesses “six Ariel compressors” that can dispense “40 gasoline-gallon equivalent (GGE) per minute”. The Head of the FCA Transport, Marty DiFiore stated:
"Allocating FCA US resources to convert the fleet to CNG not only yields the company long-term cost savings, it significantly reduces CO2 emissions and continues the company’s leadership in the areas of technological advancement and sustainability. We're also sending a strong signal to the Detroit community that we're going to play a supportive role in the City's comeback”.
 
Throughout the regions of Ontario, Michigan, Canada and Ohio, the FCA Transport service “delivers parts and materials to FCA US assembly plants”. In the words of the TruStar Energy’s president Adam Comora:
“With this new CNG station, FCA US is taking a leadership position in its industry—and in creating a lower carbon future. Companies that have fleets are beginning to take a longer strategic look at migrating their vehicles to domestic compressed natural gas. Even in a lower oil price environment, certain CNG applications still make economic sense providing significant cost savings while allowing corporations to make progress toward sustainability goals.”
 
The CNG private fueling station has been the “largest private” venture under taken by TruStar Energy, whereby the completion period of the said project was under six months, so that it can be operational for FCA Transport fleet. Moreover, the said period marks very quick time frame besides industry standards that require twelve to eighteen months for such projects. TruStar Energy is under a “long-term supply contract” with the FCA US, whereby the former being the owner will also “operate and maintain” the CNG station. TruStar Energy’s G.M for “Construction and Service Operations”, Scott Edelbach remarked:

Getting it done quickly and on time with our partners and DTE Energy delivered significant cost savings for FCA US. This station was specifically designed to meet FCA Transport’s fueling needs today and tomorrow as they increase their CNG fleet.”
 
As per BusinessWire, the newly constructed CNG station possesses “six Ariel 300-horsepower compressors packaged by ANGI, a PSB dual-tower gas dryer and three ANGI fast-fill dispensers”.
