Symantec Corporation and TCS Join Hands To Develop ‘Analytic’ Security Services

In a joint venture TCS and Symantec Corporation to provide “security services” that will be driven by analytics.



In an announcement the Tata Consultancy Services revealed that it has joined in a partnership with the Symantec Corporation. The former is a leading “IT services” provider which specialises in consultation and solutions to business related issues, while the latter is a leading protection provider of information and “security software”. The duo will strive to “provide analytics driven security services”.
 
The customers will benefit from this partnership as it will enable the business opportunities to be leveraged at a lower cost while improving “productivity”. This feat will be achieved by the combined expertise of “security industry” of TCS and the “security technologies” of Symantec.
 
The TCS portfolio will provide an integrated “world-class” security management services that will be of nest-gen, whereby it will also underpin the security solutions presented by the Symantec’s enterprise in its data protection unit which comes along with its “datacenter and cloud security and threat intelligence”.  
 
Therefore, the said partnership will amply benefit the customers besides developing “industry standard joint offerings” whereby allowing the customers to experience “unique, simplified, anytime, anywhere services” made possible by “Symantec’s product suite”.
 
Tata Consultancy Services’ enterprise security and risk management’s “global head”, Satish Thiagarajan stated:
