The Gem Diamonds’ shares went up over ten percent on Monday, 15 January 2018, as the company revealed that it has “uncovered a 910 carat, colourless diamond”, being the “fifth largest gem quality” of diamonds that is ever found.
Moreover, the diamond miner informed Reuters that the diamonds uncovered by Gem Diamond is a part of group that represents “less than 1 percent of all mined diamonds” all around the globe, while its value gets hiked up given its colourless property.
