Samsung Does Keep Major Expectations From Its Deal Of Hon Hai & Sharp

The TV Business of Samsung is not likely to see greater impact from its recent deal.



The company of “Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (005930.KS)” have reported that the company is not looking forward to “major change” in its television business sector as a follow up to its “Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd (2317.TW)”.
 
The latter, however, has been acquired as per the plans of “display panel maker Sharp Corp (6753.T)”, reported a senior executive of Samsung on Tuesday, the 22nd March 2016.
 
The head of TV business in Samsung, Kim Hyun-suk delivered the same news to the reporters in a press conference, whereby he revealed that the market share determined no.1 TV maker of the world has now turned into the “biggest buyer of panels”, while the goods are being purchased from the “Sakkai plant”. It is a “joint venture” of Hon Hai and Sharp.
 
Moreover, in Kim’s words:
"Of course it's hard to predict what might happen in the future ... but I don't expect any material changes in our business”.
