Michael O'Leary, the CEO of Ryanair Holdings Plc, has advocated for restrictions on alcohol sales in airport bars due to an increase in unruly behavior by intoxicated passengers on flights.

He told the Daily Telegraph that sales of drinks to passengers at airports should be restricted to only two.

Ryanair has experienced a significant rise in cases of unruly passengers behaving badly while on board, particularly when they combine alcohol with other substances, according to statements made. O'Leary believes that implementing a ban on alcohol sales at airports could help reduce the increase in incidents on flights.

Ryanair experiences a high number of assaults on airplane crew members and other passengers on a weekly basis, he pointed out. He mentioned that disputes among passengers are also becoming more common.

He stated that while we don't permit individuals to drive under the influence, we still allow them to board airplanes flying up to 33,000 feet.

O'Leary added that flight delays worsen the situation by causing passengers to spend additional time at airport bars.
