According to Press TV, the state will imminently face a strong and definitive retaliation, with no uncertainty.

He also approved of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar being appointed as the new head of the movement's bureau in the Gaza Strip. He said that Hamas will keep up its actions, potentially resulting in the downfall of the Israeli government.

The tensions in the Middle East have increased significantly following the killings of Haniyeh in Tehran and Fuad Shukr in Beirut, a top aide to Hezbollah's leader, last week. Iran and Hezbollah have promised to retaliate for their deaths.

Al-Arabiya TV reported that U.S. authorities believe Iran and Hezbollah have delayed their planned attack on Israel and may now target them on either Thursday or Friday.
