According to Bloomberg, which cited sources at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the IMF is thinking of providing Ukraine with a multiyear aid package between $14 billion to $16 billion. The program's duration in years is not stated.

A multi-year plan for aid to Ukraine will be finished in March 2023, the agency's sources claim. Ukraine will get between $5 billion and $7 billion as early as April 2023 if the scheme is approved. However, the acceptance of the G7 nations and Ukraine's creditors will also be necessary for the proposal to be implemented.

The Ukrainian Finance Ministry declined to comment to Bloomberg. The Ukrainian Finance Ministry did, however, publish a statement on January 26 in which it expressed optimism for an IMF financial aid program that was "fully-fledged."

A pact between the IMF and Ukraine states that the fund will get ready to start a full-fledged support program. A campaign to solicit money from donors to aid Ukraine was approved by the IMF as part of the memorandum in late December. The duration of this curriculum is four years. The fund gave Ukraine emergency funding of $2.7 billion in the same month.
