The IMF reports that Colombia and Venezuela will have the greatest GDP growth rates among the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean this year, with increases of 7.6% and 6%, respectively.
Bolivia (3.8%), Uruguay (5.3%), and Argentina (4%) are following suit.
According to the IMF's October report, Brazil's GDP would expand by 2.8%, Ecuador’s - by 2.9%, Peru’s - by 2.7%, Mexico’s - by 2.1%, Chile’s - by 2%, and Paraguay’s - by 0.2%.
This year, the combined GDP of Latin America and the Caribbean will expand by 3.5%.
