Various companies from the fashion industry have signed a pact in support of protecting world’s natural heritage.

Last Friday, major companies from the global fashion industry reported that they have “signed a pact” for presenting to help in the environmental protection during the G7 summit.

Thirty two such companies have signed in the pact which includes companies like “Adidas, Burberry, Kering, Hermes, Nike, Prada and Puma”.

Fendi label of LVMH has its association with the “Karl Lagerfeld brand” which is also part of the pact, while the parent company of LVMH is not forming part of the same.

G7 keeps environmental protection as a top priority in its agenda as the “French President Emmanuel Macron and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres” have both expressed their concerns about the raging wildfire that’s devouring the rainforest of Amazon.

The representatives of the fashion companies who are part of the pact met with the President of France last Friday. The discussion dwelled on the goals and methods to protect forests besides reducing the plastic usage.
