German stock index DAX sets new historic high

According to trading data, the major European stock markets ended Wednesday with gains, and the German index DAX set a new high.

By the end of the day, the French CAC 40 had risen by 0.52% to 7328.53 points and the British index FTSE 100 had risen by 0.1% to 7602.74 points.

The DAX in Germany grew by 0.49% to 16310.79 points. The index hit a fresh historical high of 16336.27 points during trading. The highest score previously was 16331.94 points.

Investors around the world are anticipating the publication of the US Federal Reserve's conclusions from its June meeting. Approximately 93% of analysts polled by CME Group anticipate that the benchmark interest rate set by the regulator will remain at the current level of 5-5.25%.
