General Motors suspends advertising on Twitter after Musk buys it

Following Elon Musk's acquisition of the social network, General Motors will temporarily stop running advertisements on Twitter.

This "often happens when there are big changes involving media platforms," according to the American company.

General Motors said in a statement that it was "working with Twitter to understand the trajectory of the platform under new leadership" (quoted by CNBC). The business mentions that it still interacts with clients on social media.

On October 27, Elon Musk finalized the $44 billion purchase of Twitter. The billionaire quickly sacked nearly the whole management team. Mr. Musk promised to unblock accounts that had been suspended for shady reasons.
