On Thursday, 28 November 2019, The Kremlin informed that the President of France, Emmanuel Macron has communicated to Moscow that he “was ready” to talk about the proposal of Russia regarding imposing “a moratorium on the deployment of missiles in Europe”, reported the “Interfax news agency”.
According to Reuters reports:
“Russia has proposed a moratorium on the deployment of short and intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Europe after the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) banning such a move formally ended in August”.
If “the TASS news agency” are to be believed, Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson from Kremlin, said that there is a possibility of the French President, Macron and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, meeting on the agenda of discussion the proposal in talks to be held in Paris on December, 9.
