Voice social network Clubhouse has released a beta version of the app for Android users, according to the service's blog. For now, it is only available for residents of the U.S., later it will be available for the other English-speaking countries and in the next stage the whole world will be able to use the Android version of the social network.

Over the next few weeks Clubhouse plans to collect feedback, fix problems and add a few more features, including payment, for example. For now, Android device owners can pre-register on the social network's Google Play page to be notified when the app becomes available in their region.

The Clubhouse voice network was created by Google's Paul Davison and Rohan Seth. It went viral in late 2020 and early 2021 and was valued at $1bn in January after raising $100m in investment. As the service grew in popularity, Clubhouse's global audience grew 5,000 times to 10 million.

In February, Clubhouse took the third place in the world in terms of downloads among social network applications, but in March the number of active and new users of the social network began to decrease. At the same time, in April, the company's valuation increased to $4 billion.
