The British PM Keir Starmer declared he will strengthen the police with special units, prepared to be deployed promptly to suppress any unrest. He made this remark following an urgent meeting to address the continuing sixth day of riots, reports Sky News.

Terry
Starmer promised to expedite the trials in criminal courts for the rioters and urged the police to swiftly identify the perpetrators.

The unrest, started by the extreme right and aimed at immigrants, started following an incident where a 17-year-old British boy in Southport assaulted kids at a dance lesson with a knife. Three young girls lost their lives while eight other children and two adults were wounded. News quickly traveled that they were assaulted by a Muslim immigrant, sparking a wave of attacks on foreigners, mosques, and asylum seeker housing nationwide.

The person who carried out the attack was caught and revealed to be a British citizen and indigenous resident. He has already faced charges. There has been no information released regarding his reasons.

378 individuals believed to be rioters have been arrested nationwide. Numerous police officers were taken to the hospital due to injuries.
