Bank of America to open over 165 branches by the end of 2026

Bank of America Corp., the second-largest U.S. bank in terms of assets, intends to open over 165 branches by 2026, with around 40 of them scheduled for this year, as stated in their press release.

In the last decade, the bank has invested over $5 billion in its branch network and has established over 100 new branches in the last two years.

In the current year, BofA finished improvements and enhancements on over 3,000 branches, prioritizing the arranging of customer meeting areas. In the last year, the bank's financial experts have conducted close to 10 million meetings like this in their branches.

Simultaneously, over 95% of customer engagements occur on the company's online platform.

BofA operates approximately 3.8 thousand retail locations and 15 thousand ATMs. The bank caters to approximately 69 million retail and small business clients. Its digital platform has roughly 58 million users.
