On Thursday, 22nd September 2016, South Korea “ordered” the company of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to take “additional” precautions for ensuring that the batteries of “Galaxy Note 7 handsets are safe”, while one of the leading company of smart-phone is scheduled to resume its sales in South Korean region.
Moreover, Reuters reports that the Korean agency for Technology and Standards’ statement shows formal approval of “Samsung’s plan” of recalling Note7 smart-phones present within the country. Due to the malfunction of the batteries, whereby phones worth $897.04 caught fire, the recall took place.
While Reuters adds:
“The agency said it ordered Samsung to have its supplier conduct x-ray tests on the batteries before the components are shipped, as well as a thorough inspection by Samsung itself to ensure battery safety”.
The company of Samsung has plans of resuming the Note7’s new sales in South Korea on the 28th of September 2016.
