According to the association, this marks the first occasion where significant companies beyond the nuclear industry have united to openly endorse a substantial and coordinated increase in nuclear power to address the rising global energy needs.

The coalition consists of Google (a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc.), Amazon.com Inc, Meta, Occidental Petroleum, Lloyd's Register, and Dow Inc. They have allied with 14 of the biggest banks and financial firms globally, 140 nuclear enterprises, and 31 nations to endorse the aim of tripling worldwide nuclear capacity by 2050.

The commitment to back the initiative, originally presented at the COP28 summit, was signed alongside the CERAWeek 2025 global energy conference in Houston.
